Queen Khadijah Freeman – Actress | Poet | Ministry Leader

Queen Khadijah Freeman is a powerhouse of poetic expression and dramatic talent whose work spans television, film, theater, and ministry. A Chicago-based actress and published poet, Queen brings depth, grace, and authenticity to every stage and screen she touches.

Her television credits include co-starring roles on hit NBC series Empire and Chicago Fire, as well as memorable appearances on Steve Harvey’s Ask Steve segment and You & Me This Morning on WCIU. She has also showcased her spoken word artistry on Bobby Jones Gospel for The Word Network and most recently appeared on Chicago PD and the Amazon Prime series The Coleman Show.

Queen’s film credits include leading roles in Her Quest To Please (Fox Television), Ran$um Games (Noble Street Media), and My Phamily BBQ (23 Hues Productions). On stage, she’s brought powerful performances to productions like Family Affair, Pink October, Trying to Pay the Bills, When You Cry, I Cry, and Love The Hurt Away, demonstrating her dynamic range from lead roles to compelling supporting characters.

In the commercial and print space, Queen has been featured in campaigns for Tide, Harold’s Chicken, Dusty’s/Kenny’s Ribs, and Verizon’s How Sweet The Sound as a praise dancer.

A graduate of David E. Talbert’s Scene Study Intensive Workshop, Queen Khadijah is trained in improv, dramatic monologue, teleprompter reading, roller skating, and tactical movement. She is also active in ministry and community service, bringing light and leadership wherever she goes. Queen’s voice as a poet is raw and resonant.

In 2017, she released her debut poetry book Transparently Me, a collection of soul-stirring truths available on Amazon and her official site www.queenkhadijah.com.
